With its dog like face, bushy, white tipped tail and red coat the red fox are found in the Himalayan regions. They keep to themselves and hunt in night. During the winter mating season, the male comes to stay with the vixen and cubs in the dens. Red foxes can run at speeds of more than 30 miles per hour when chased and are good swimmers.
